About Us

MYBJJ was established in October 2021.  The foundation of MYBJJ lies in building a supportive community focused on strong core fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
 
The gym stays closely connected to the traditional Brazilian teachings of BJJ, fostering an environment where practitioners can achieve their goals both in real-life self-defense situations and in competitive sports. Whether you're looking to improve fitness, discipline, or excel in competitions, MYBJJ offers the path to success.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

 It offers a comprehensive introduction to the art, focusing on building a strong foundation in essential BJJ techniques, including self-defense, takedowns, and fundamental principles. To ensure a calm and focused learning environment, there will be no sparring or rolling in this class. Students will benefit from a unique, dynamic experience that emphasizes self-defense techniques, strategic thinking, practical applications, and a sequence of movements designed to develop a well-rounded skill set in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Judo

Students will learn essential Judo techniques, including throws, joint locks, and pins, as well as basic self-defense skills. With a focus on foundational principles and techniques, this class offers a structured environment where students can practice without sparring, allowing them to build confidence and understanding in a calm and controlled setting. The emphasis on technique, strategy, and movement combinations ensures a comprehensive learning experience that lays a solid foundation in Judo.

Boxing & Muay Thai

This class is perfect for beginners looking to explore the fundamentals of both Boxing and Muay Thai. Students will learn essential techniques, such as proper stance, footwork, punches, and defensive skills for Boxing, along with kicks, elbows, knees, and clinch work for Muay Thai. The class focuses on building a strong foundation through technical drills, pad work, and conditioning exercises. Without any sparring, students can develop their skills in a safe and supportive environment, allowing them to gain confidence and improve their fitness. Whether you're interested in self-defense, fitness, or learning a new martial art, this class provides a comprehensive introduction to both Boxing and Muay Thai.
