In a spectacular display of skill and determination, MYBJJ athletes made an impressive mark at the Asian Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship held in Chiba, Japan, at the end of June 2024. The event was a grand stage for showcasing top-tier jiu-jitsu talent from across Asia, and our team rose to the occasion with exceptional performances.
Gold Medals for Nurul Ain and Wei Wen
The spotlight of the tournament (AJP Tour Malaysia National Jiu-jitsu Championship 2024) shone brightly on our athletes, Nurul Ain and Wei Wen, who both secured gold medals in the Gi white belt division. Their victories were a testament to their rigorous training and unwavering dedication. Nurul Ain’s and Wei Wen’s gold medals not only added to our team’s accolades but also demonstrated their mastery of technique and strategy on an international stage.
Goh Kean Choon’s Remarkable Debut
In his first-ever international competition, Goh Kean Choon delivered a standout performance, earning a silver medal in the Blue belt division. Kean Choon’s achievement is particularly noteworthy as it highlights his rapid progress and potential in the sport. His silver medal reflects his hard work and the high standards of training at MYBJJ.
